It will likely warm 4 degrees in 100 years. That means that not only have humans wiped out 50% of all living things, but will soon see environmental protections lifted, extinction regulations lifted, drilling whenever anyone wants — a cabinet full of oligarchs who will continue to make Putin’s (your boss) circle richer and our own oligarch richer all because you hate women. Think about that. Think about a supreme court that’s conservative for the next twenty years of your life. When that sheen of foolish angry self-obsession lifts you might actually evolve into a community organizer. You might then have to rally people to vote. You might then get an initiative all the way to supreme court. It might take years and then you will see what you’ve done. You are threatening the lives of endangered species with your hatred. You are a young white man (surprise surprise) and thus, you don’t have a lot to lose. You can pop a boner of hate because it makes you feel strong and powerful tapping away on your computer keyboard or doing god knows what you do with your time, combing through the internet looking for women you now have the freedom to condemn. I hope it was worth it. I hope when you think about chimps and elephants whose habitats are diminishing, when the hundreds of thousands of impoverished refugees have to flee their barren landscapes for fertile shores only to be met with the kind of people YOU JUST PUT IN POWER. I hope that you pat yourself on the back and say, yeah, my hatred went SO DEEP it was bigger than an environmental holocaust.
