  • The Sassa representative will initiate the replacement process and give you further instructions.

Note: If you call the Sassa from an unregistered number, Sassa will consider your request. Have you lost your registered phone number, or is it not functional now? Don’t worry. Visit the Sassa official website, change your phone number, and call Sassa with the new registered number.

2. Replace SASSA Card Via Post Office

  • Visit the nearest Sassa post office branch.
  • Go to any desk and directly tell a Sassa official that you have lost your card and want a new one.
  • The Sassa official will provide you with a Sassa card lost form.
  • Filled out the form according to the requested information.

4. Updated Banking Details

How To Activate New Sassa Card

When you have a Sassa card, you can activate it with two methods, as mentioned below.

  1. The Sassa card comes along with activation instructions. Read the instructions carefully and follow them to activate your Sassa new card. If you are uneducated and can’t read the instructions in English, follow the second method.
  2. Call the Sassa helpline at 0800 60 10 11 and ask for help from the representative about the card activation. Follow all the instructions of the representative for the card activation process.
