I saw 2 stories yesterday claiming the 200,000. I commented on them as a biker, laughing at the thought of that many people choosing to ignore the horrid weather to go support Trump. There’s a reason you get a full year of insurance for the cost of 6 months, especially on the East coast because you put your bike away for the season. Even if you are comfortable walking around in a hoodie once you get on a bike and hit 40+ MPH it is bitter cold in the late fall let alone in full winter! I have had painfully numb fingers and bits that weren’t covered with leather (those chaps have gaps people!). My husband’s a little more die-hard than I and even he laughed at the January ride brag. We now live on the West coast and I still have days I leave my bike on it’s stand.
This morning I got online to see a new article claiming 2 Million bikers. Am I the only one picturing Tommy Flanagan: Pathological Liars Anonymous from Saturday Night Live?
