Do we need to completely ignore “what others think” or is it needed a little bit in our lives?

Unless you’re going against the law or hurting someone unnecessarily on purpose, usually ignoring “what others think” is the best policy of life. But can we throw others’ concerns completely out of the window? That depends. If a random person is giving a negative review about you then you can ignore it easily but if that is coming from one of your loved ones then you should stop and think about their perspectives.

A little bit of criticism is helpful for not repeating the same mistakes. But if something is bothering and disturbing you then you have to be calm and patient to make them realize that you don’t like their approach. You just can’t neglect and lead your life as if nothing happened. You have to be communicative enough to make them understand your view points. And if they still don’t care about how you feel and how right you are then surely ignore them and do not pay heed to their opinions.

Ignoring others opinions needs courage. And once you achieve it, it gives you immense pleasure of accepting yourself without worrying about anybody else. You should stop what other people think but you have to apply some filters when it comes from your closed circle. Do not get intimidated by anyone. Nobody is perfect. Accept your flaws and keep walking.
