Pradip Burman is a prolific business leader, environmentalist and advocate of sustainability. He is the grandson of Dr S. K Burman, the founder of Mobius Foundation, a non-profit organization and Chairman of ayurvedic company, Dabur. Born in a family of innovators and philanthropists, Pradip Burman has the same leadership qualities that have made him work for social causes.

He established Mobius Foundation in 2015 with the sole purpose of environment conservation.

Even at 79, Pradip Burman, the zestful environmental crusader is talking about sustainability to promote climate justice & humanity on the Earth. He refuses to rest to the convenience and comfort in the modern world because it adds pressure to nature for producing natural resources that cause climate change.

An Advocate of Sustainability

Burman believes that sustainability is the answer for continued survival and a must step for saving the planet.

Due to the uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources by human beings, the world today is standing on the brink of destruction. The human race has reached the peak of progress and development is happening in a very unsustainable manner.

Mobius Foundation: The Change for Sustainability & Future Development

Mobius Foundation, NGO for Environment Protection .With the vision of sustainable development and environmental justice, Pradip Burman paved his way to found Mobius Foundation. He borrowed the name from 18th-century German mathematician August Ferdinand Mobius. The foundation aimed to spread the principle ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ to help generations to come and live as we are living today.

He believes that it can be achieved by focusing on education, population stabilisation and renewable energy development through various ventures & initiatives.Mobius Foundation is best Ngo in Delhi.

World Environment School

While understanding the need, he established a sustainable education school in Coorg with the name, the World Environment School. It aims to introduce a holistic understanding of sustainable living and environmental welfare.

The school focuses on a curriculum that surpasses the boundaries of classrooms and books with hands-on activities and learning in an open environment. It would not just help the students to grow but also make future green leaders.

International Conference for Sustainable Education (ICSE)

Another interesting project which is close to Pradip Burman’s heart is ICSE. It is an International Conference for Sustainable Education. It discusses the need to incorporate education for sustainable development, climate change and environmental education to students.

Project Aakar

To meet his dream of Mission Sustainability: Planet V/s Population, he began an initiative called ‘Project Aakar’. This project aims at tackling the problems of the increasing population in India. He began this project with the Govt. of India’s initiative to stabilize the population by breaking the old-age myths, changing mindset and promoting contraceptives among young people in UP.

Project Aakar educates them about the importance of family planning and reproductive health.

Project Sanjeevani

Pradip Burman launched a mass tree plantation drive under the initiative called ‘Project Sanjeevani’ to increase green cover into the environment. He planted over 5000 saplings in collaboration with farmers, schools, Kisan club members and self-help groups.

Through this initiative, Mobius Foundation encourages people to reduce their carbon footprint and restore our environment by planting trees.

Pradip Burman: Living Beyond the Limit A Man Builds

In his entire life & journey, Pradip Burman has been tirelessly working & encouraging many to join the movement for sustainability. And spreading awareness of why a healthy environment is needed for the continued survival of the human race on the Earth.
