Coding Ninjas vs Coding Blocks vs PrepInsta Prime
Having programming knowledge is basic eligibility for getting into any IT company. However, the coding knowledge given in college is often not enough, especially for non-it students who want to migrate to IT fields. They are often searching for platforms where they can learn coding.
Today these platforms are available in abundance. To the point where students do not know which one to go for. In this article, I bring to you three of the most prominent platforms to learn coding from, discussing what makes them so good and whether or not you should opt for their paid materials. These websites are Coding Ninjas, Coding Blocks, and PrepInsta Prime.
Any engineering graduate has heard of these three websites. They have a huge online presence and work heavily in placement preparation.
A brief introduction of the websites:-
- Coding Ninjas
They offer multiple courses on coding and DSA. Additionally, they have web development and interview preparation courses as well. On their website, they have listed 17+ courses.
Their courses are grouped into competitive programming, DSA, analytics & data science, web development, and interview preparation. Their courses are paid and you can watch free demos before buying.
- Coding Blocks
Coding Blocks is also a coding platform offering coding and dsa courses. Unlike the other two websites, this website follows a mix of online and offline classes. Their courses include DSA, competitive programming, web development, android development, interview preparation, and data science & ML.
These courses are available in three batches:-
- Classroom Batch
- Live Batch
- Online Batch
The classroom batch has 50–60 students per batch, where the courses are taught with one-on-one support.
The live batch is similar to the classroom batch except being in-person classes they have online meet classes.
The online batch offers pre-recorded videos of lectures.
Each of the courses is priced differently, with the classroom batch being the most expensive and the online batch being the least expensive.
- PrepInsta Prime
PrepInsta Prime is more known for its aptitude courses than coding but that does not make them any inferior. The website offers a wide range of courses on programming and DSA along with their regiments of aptitude, resume building, interview preparation, and more.
These are some of the coding courses they offer on top of their other course.
Unlike the other two platforms, Prime does not charge you per course. Instead, they give you the entire catalog for one subscription. They have multiple subscription options ranging from 3 months to 48 months.

A very good website in terms of learning to code. Their course materials are good and easy to understand. Their dedicated TA support is available for doubt resolutions. They also help in placements and provide campus ambassador programs and internships.
However, for a website dedicated to college students, their courses are really expensive. They also do not have much free content.
- Coding Blocks:-
Their best feature is the classroom and live interactive classes where students can have one on one attention on them. However, their pre-recorded classes do not live up to expectations, making this website unsuitable for people wanting self-paced learning.
They do provide scholarships and placement assistance to their students.
- PrepInsta Prime:-
It offers more courses at a lesser price while also not compromising on the quality. They offer all-around placement preparation materials starting from resume building, and online assessments to interview preparation. And their prices are really affordable.
However, one thing where they can improve is the sheer number of videos some courses have. These courses are often 100+ hours long making it difficult for students who have less time to prepare.
My Choice:-
If you are in Delhi/Noida region and want one on one coding classes go for Coding Blocks. However, if you are not from there, then you can go for either Coding Ninjas or PrepInsta Prime. And if you are looking for complete placement training, then also you should opt for Prime.
