The new Macbook Pro tool bar is a scab I want to pick off
Cody Brown

If you’re the type that can really benefit from the functions of the Surface Pro on a computer, then sure. For the other 99% of consumers, the Surface Pro is an overpriced overkill, and will not be an option. They won’t buy it, and hence won’t benefit from its technical wonders. In the mean time, millions of people will buy the new MBP and will benefit from the Touch Bar. No matter how you look at it, Apple has been strongest when they incorporated and perfected “new-ish” technology for the masses (iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad), not when they were at the bleeding edge of tech (Newton, 20th Anniversary Mac, Cube).
