Installing Alby Wallet
Visit the official website: https://getalby.com/
Click on “Add Browser Extension”
Create Wallet
Set Unlock Password
Connect with Alby
Sign up Alby Account
Enter your email address to receive the verification code
Receive Bitcoin (Invoice)
Unlike the traditional method of receiving payments with a wallet address, the Bitcoin Lightning Network provides a payment method called an invoice, which requires setting the payment amount in advance.
Click on “Receive”.
Click on “Lightning invoice”.
Enter the amount you want to receive, note that the unit here is Sats (1 BTC = 100.00M SATS). If it’s not easy to calculate at once, it’s okay. You can refer to the hint number on the right for the real-time conversion value in USD. Description can be left blank, then click “Create Invoice”.
Copy the invoice address (please do not close this page, if you are using a mobile device, scan the QR code)
Open a wallet that supports Lightning Network withdrawals, such as CEX or any other wallet that supports Lightning Network transfers and has a balance.
This tutorial uses Binance as an example.
Click on “Withdraw”, find “Bitcoin”, and select the withdrawal network.
Choose “LIGHTNING” and you will see that the Fee is very cheap.
Enter the copied invoice from earlier (Binance’s Invoice only supports lowercase input at the time of tutorial release)
Settings and Security
Open extension settings options
Scroll down with the mouse to find “Go To Accounts”.
Click on the backup phrase.
Connect NostrAssets
Visit the official website: https://mainnet.nostrassets.com/
Click on “Connect Nostr” to connect your wallet.
Click “Receive Assets” to recharge Alby or other lightning network supported wallet assets to NostrAssets.
Enter the token and amount you want to receive and click “Create Invoice”
