:\ Why the mandatory social network login, Medium?

Medium requires a Facebook/Twitter account for signing up on here. I’m logged in via my Twitter account and I’d really like to disconnect it and use this as an anonymous blogging platform.

Applications should move away from social-platform-only-connect to an email-also signup. Sure everyone would opt for the former but for folks like me, an email signup is often very handy (because I can then login from work!). I hope Medium introduces it soon.

And also I hope Medium allows its users to write from mobile devices as well! I’d blog from my Kindle ;)
