You don’t need to worry about dimensions changing if you don’t use the dimensions API. That’s why we don’t encourage using it, and rarely have any example using dimensions in RN. We don’t have a proper way of handling screen size change yet. So it’s better if you let React Native handle these for you. Actually you can use a neat trick with onLayout callback to measure height/width and do any responsive stuff. onLayout will fire on any layout change on things like rotation etc.
