Adding animations to your design is like a cherry on the cake. As UI-UX Designer, I use many tools for creating animations for my design without diving into heavy ram-consuming software like After Effects, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro ( for mac ).

I’ll give you a list of 5 of them that I think are important to know.

1. SVGator

The best web-based tool for creating complex SVG and Vector animations.

You can create stunning animated GIFs and SVGs with a few clicks using SVGator’s well-thought-out and user-friendly interface.

2. Hype4

If you need to add custom animations and interactions using code, Hype4 is made for you.

It has got many functions like triggers, actions, timeline view, keyframes and a lot more.

Powerful Features of Hype4 include Responsive Layouts, Symbols or Components, Grid System, Powerful Physics Animations, Advance Export etc.

3. Panzoid ( AE Alternative )

Panzoid is a web-based tool that can be used to create 3D Animations and Effects, just like you do in After Effects.

It has got mainly three tools :

  1. Clipmaker — 2D/3D Animation Tool
  2. Backgrounder — Create custom graphics, Youtube Thumbnails, Channel Art and related kinds of stuff.
  3. Video Editor — Online Editor to mix videos, and audio, add effects & transitions.

You can run this on even smartphone or tablet devices.

4. Jitter

Jitter’s minimal and clean UI always attracts me to do my quick prototyping and interaction animations for my UI Elements, Webpage or any module.

Creating sophisticated animations is as simple as creating PowerPoint or Keynote animations, but with far more customization options.

It’s so easy that even non-tech or non-designer guys can create amazing animations.

5. BeeCut (Bonus)

If you have ever used Filmora, Power Director, or similar software, you will get a familiar look. It has got almost all the features you require for editing a video.

Make your videos look more professional by editing in some eye-catching transitions, overlays, filters, effects, titles, voiceover, and music.

Most Amazing — It’s Completely Free.

Please go check them out and let me know in the comments, which will be your favourite tool. Happy Animating…

If you use other tools, kindly mention them in the comments below.
