The future of empathy — in a world of artificially intelligent humans.
Anjali Gupta

Dealing with loss is something I still struggle with. Your post reminded me again that understanding how we feel and how others feel is still among the most difficult “skills” to master. Empathy seems to be seen today as something that comes in the way of being an “optimized” human being. Someone who is successful and effective in their lives.

You are absolutely right when you say that the future we should dread is when we become more machine rather than when machines become more human.
