Clean is Lean

When we start to think, mostly we think of the past or the future. The things that went wrong in the past or the people we should never have met or may be the the things that we need in future. May be a better house, a better car or may be an iPhone 7S (future :)) Bad things carried from the past are hardly of any use and I wish if we could have a tool to send all the bad memories to recycle bin and then delete them permanently. But no…no one has that. Better way is to wait for some time and once the time goes by the bitter memories tend to fade. We can just forgive people for the sake of cleaning our mind. The cleaner mind can help in thinking of better things vs bitter things. Sometimes its about the incidences happened in life. We can recover from them thinking that whatever happened was out of our control otherwise we could have helped stopping it, before it happened. Sometimes its about loosing people that you loved, may be parents, may be friends. Their memories will still be there for lifetime but thinking in positive manner and praying for them so to make their souls rest in peace would be a better approach.

Everyone needs a happy, safe and good life. Once a man went to Buddha and asked him to grant a wish. He said

“I want Happiness!”.
Buddha (the enlightened one) said Remove “I” (Ego and self centered approach, start living for benefit of everyone. Start helping) and then remove “want” (The things that fall under needs will be full-filled and the list of the things under “wants” is never going to end). Now you are left with “Happiness”.

The more we worry about the future and things we want in life more are we stressed. Rather, doing good karma by not hurting anyone deliberately and helping people as much as possible (starting with the self) should give us everything that we “Attract”. So wiping the slate of mind clean we can feel happier and this inner phenomenon of Happiness can happen. Be clean be happy!
