Newton’s Third Law
We obviously have two views while looking at the things, towards people, stuff and situations. We bifurcate them as right or wrong, heart and mind. Or say a creative vs logic thought. So…sometimes it becomes difficult to choose. The quest for the best takes us to the places, it never ends. We always strive to be perfect. Everything perfect. But does that happen? Or it leaves us with more dissatisfied set of thoughts, sleepless nights and bad relations? May be! We are what we are. Let’s accept this. This happens with everyone, unless we change something.
Just think of this. Someone posting a photo on facebook. What happens next? Likes and Comments! Yes. It goes on and on till the person who matters the most Likes the photo and comments something good. Without that person or those persons the purpose of posting doesn’t get fulfilled. What if they ignore? How do we see this? Do we feel offended? Isn’t it a reaction towards a reaction that we expect. Yes, must be.
Some days before, while driving back to home from a hilly area I saw a beautiful flower that blossomed in a small crack of rock. It was so hidden from the world but still it was very beautiful, happy with the self. With no expectations from anyone. Logically too, I was not sure even if any insects could find it and its purpose of pollination can get fulfilled :) Still it was indulged in it’s own happiness.
Thinking of this, when we are concerned about being good in our own heart, doing good based on what we think is right should be more than enough to remain happy. If we are expecting someone else’s remarks of merit, it may bring a wave of unhappiness in calm and perfect ocean of mind.
Buddha (the calm and happy one) said that everything you see around you is a reflection of your own thoughts. So anything you judge as right is right and you are responsible for anything you feel is wrong. Change the way of looking at it. If you don’t like it, change it. Be happy.
May be first we need to “Act” and not “React” and secondly accept the situations before trying to change it. We know what is right thing but honestly, it takes a lifetime to achieve.
