War of the Worlds

We see the things from our own perspective. It’s but obvious that we may differ in our thinking from others. But it also happens that we contradict ourselves. We get confused and then find ourselves in a tough situation.

I asked the Buddha (The Self-realized one)
Why do I find myself in a situation where I can’t decide and get confused between true or false, right or wrong?
He said,
There are always two wolves fighting inside your mind. You must be wondering, which one wins. The answer is the one you feed the most. One is a positive thought and other is the negative one. You can identify the positive one by checking the intention and the possible output of the action. If the output looks in harmony with happiness and betterment for everyone around, it’s positive. This is the one you should support and this should be the winning thought.

Ah…great! Checking intentions and emotions together can make the path clearer.
