I once was a pharaoh of Egyptian times

A ruler of cities and distant sands,

A statue of marvel with words carved mighty upon stone;

A king of kings

A golden throne,

I was all this and more

Armies vast with thunderous hordes

But I sadly lost the battle, the war;

The enemy conquered my heart and my sword

They robed me of my name , the lord

They forced open the gates, stopped turning the world

They plundered my gold, and

Lost was my soul

They took my power, they took my word

Stripped me of my titles, my scepter. and orb

Divided my kingdom and I was no more

No king, No throne

Turned beggar, turned poor..
