Blogging is a new way to distribute infomation and pitch different news stories. The thing that is different between a blog and news site would be that most bloggers are independent, and are driven by personal interest, mainly upaid. The blogs need to be credible however no pretense objectivity, blogs are often informal, conversational, and do not often work on a deadline cycle.
To gain a stronger blog reputation you should build a relationship with other bloggers. You can do this by commenting on their post, subscribing via RSS feeds, social bookmark stories, refer or rate other stories.
To keep your blog reliable you want to avoid gaining contributions or donations to keep your blog running, sending samples unless requested or reviewed, and paying other bloggers to write and syndicate stories.
Follow these rules and you’ll have a successful blog.
