Online therapy has proven to be more effective than conventional counselling methods, a recent study has found. Researchers from Pennsylvania’s Pittsburgh University found that computerised cognitive behavioural therapy (CCBT) is more effective than a doctor’s usual primary care, Medical Express reported on November 9. Although, the CCBT has a proven effectiveness in treating mood and anxiety disorders, it is still largely unknown and underutilised in the world.
