This piece has been long overdue. Something we've been meaning to do for the last couple of weeks, but what a couple of weeks this has been.
Let me take you back to the start…
What is SaveNode?
Born from frustration, when trying to invest in masternodes and having to pretty much take a degree to work out what you needed to do, and then getting burnt several times from masternode scams, Vishal and I wanted to change this problem.
It started when we were both invested in masternodes, met in a discord, (as all great relationships begin) and then both got scammed by a disappearing developer on the project. This got us both talking on how we could do it better… I know most people think that they could do things better, but after a lot of chatting over a couple of months between us, our frustrations led to the concept of SaveNode forming.
Why should it be such a pain to find a project that is genuine, that is easy to setup, and that is profitable? If you've invested in mastenodes, I'm sure you'll have found in recent times, it's a complete mine field out there. (seriously, some of the websites, I don't even think people look at!?)
So there was our gap… a project that made masternode investing easy, and accessible to the average Joe. The more we delved into it, the more we planned, the more we put pen to paper, it really started to come together.
The app is going to allow an easy way for anyone and everyone to invest in crypto. Giving you risk options, different market options and ROI predictions. You can track your portfolio and take your profits, or reinvest them back into your chosen setup. Simple.
We created a sliding collateral masternode fork of PIVX, spending a lot of time working out the rewards structure and collateral changes. We did this to ensure we could create the most reliable and stable pricing, which still produces great rewards for our investors to help us grow.
This is what we created…
As we went on, we started building out our community and team. This grew more than we could have thought.
One of the main things we wanted to ensure when we started SaveNode were doing all the things that we expected to see from a project; clear communication, transparency and delivering what we say.
Our discord started to really grow and we brought on more people to help us get the project out there. People who helped us in areas that we weren't as efficient in. When you put techie people together we create great things, but knowing the market and the space is something that bringing people in to help us really had a huge impact.
As we were growing, we again wanted to ensure transparency, which is why we did the KYD (Know your developer), to make sure people knew we were here to stay. More than that, here to build amazing things with our community.
We're not perfect, who is? We are learning a lot but we're also fully open with where we are and what we're doing. We listen to our community, to what people want, so we can deliver not just our vision but something that is really useful to the world.
The last few weeks has been a bit of a blur; We have over 900 people in our discord, we listed on Crex24, we hit top volume on the first 2 days and have paid for our second exchange listing on Cryptobridge. On top of this we have over 300 masternodes running, have planned out the feature set for the v1.0 SaveNode application and commenced work on the app user interface.
I don't think we've slept much in these weeks, but what's just so encouraging is the community that we have behind the SaveNode project. Which makes it even easier for us to communicate and deliver, as we always have some great feedback from so many people.
We are continuing to share everything we're planning, doing and have done with you all. This now means on here too! We're excited to share the journey with you all as we bring something special to our community and the world.
