New Sewer Exhibit at MOPPA.org!
There’s MOMA, The Museum of Modern Art. It’s in New York. Then there’s MOCA, The Museum of Contemporary Art. That’s in Los Angeles. Then there’s MOPA, The Museum of Photographic Art. That one’s in San Diego. Now there’s MOPPA — The Museum of Plumbing & Plumbing Art. It’s on the Internet. It’s the country’s newest virtual museum. MOPPA looks at the art of plumbing and plumbing as art.
MOPPA now has permanent exhibits on Antique Plumbing Fixtures, and Antique Bathtubs. Last week, a special exhibit on Sewers and Sewer Pipes went up. Check it out — there’s even a hotel made from sewer pipes.

Scheduled for the coming weeks are exhibits on Antique Plumbing Tools, Antique Toilets, Antique Showers, Antique Bathroom Vanities, Antique Bathroom Lighting and Antique Toilet Paper Holders. A new exhibit is posted each Friday. MOPPA is curated by Ms Dawn Sando Copley.
Please visit MOPPA — The Museum of Plumbing & Plumbing Art. If you make art using plumbing materials, send us a picture or a link. Perhaps we’ll feature it in our museum. You will retain all rights.
We are also starting a gift store — just like real museums — where visitors will be able to purchase stunning works of art that are made with plumbing materials or plumbing supplies.
MOPPA is sponsored by Mr Speedy Plumbing & Rooter, Inc of Los Angeles.
