Sometimes you get a strange feeling about a place, like something heavy or otherworldly has taken place at some point between when the walls were built and while you’re standing between them. You lean in and listen intently for them to explain themselves. The song Mosquitos In The Stucco is about that. Two explorers find a home in the woods (of Transylvania? No, we’re not quite to the vampires. Almost though.) and notice the prehistoric looking mosquitos lodged into the popcorn ceiling. How did they get there? It’s almost as if the home was built with blood. A vintage organ begins to play a spooky song somewhere else in those same woods. The explorers decide it would be a good idea to split up, each taking one of the wings. Have they learned nothing from horror cinema?

P.S., I know that it’s mosquitoes, but adding the ‘e’ just made it look wrong, so I made an executive decision.
