The Pot Papers : Dead Sea Scrolls
#12 As Far As The East Is From The West

I discovered something cool earlier this summer.
First, you must know the word “antipode” — an antipode is the direct opposite from something else. Geographically, this is like the North and South Poles. But, those exist all around the globe.
Have you heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls? The Dead Sea Scrolls contain ancient writings and biblical manuscripts found in the Qumran Caves in the West Bank. Specifically, manuscripts in Cave #4 are of note. While many manuscripts confirm previously found books of the Bible, the significant findings demonstrate some books that may have been withheld. History is only ever shaped by current society’s willingness to re-examine its past.
How do “antipodes” and the Dead Sea Scrolls relate? Try this: google “antipode West Bank”. The antipode solution on the map hovers literally where North meets South and East meets West. This means the Caves of Qumran as far as “east meets west”, a biblical reference.
Do we not have a duty of due diligence to thoroughly investigate all texts being discovered in these caves? Even the ones possibly withheld from our currently accepted version of biblical collection.
This “East from West” discovery came to “light” by the Way of the Tao.
