I hear and understand what you are saying. Feedback presented in the way that Jerry Weinberg and others suggest has worked well for me in the past, even when I was the recipient and I did not like what I was hearing. It’s the bad feedback that has a lot of inferences and implications that left me frustrated. So when you say that we should use dialog instead of feedback I feel like you are devaluing the feedback which is the key part of change. And look how well the feedback that I gave you is leading to dialog. ;)
