Gotta say your take was an eye opener for me. I realize that society actually encouraged this kind of thinking when I was growing up. my sisters and their friends were taught to accept objectifying

as complimenting and thus giving them validation as females and being sexy and beautiful was all they needed to be. As a boy I thought thats how you viewed women ( girls really) and how acceptable that was, remembering ogling the Miss Rheingold posters and the Miss Subway posters plastered all over NYC.

seems like we men have a lot of soul searching to do and hopefully there will come a time when attitudes change. I find Trump to be a vile man and this just convinces me even more. thanks for a great thoughtful piece. Steven Wilk
