2017–18 SCAD Atlanta Cycling Team Preview
Just like that, we are three weeks away from starting our second ever season as the SCAD Atlanta Varsity Cycling Team. It will be a few weeks before our team photos are up since our Fall Quarter begins on September 11. Here’s an intro to our 2017–18 team roster!

Year: Sophomore
Academic Major: Painting
Cycling Disciplines: Road, Track, Cyclocross
“I’m really excited to find a balance between full time bike racing and pursuing a degree, especially a degree that I’m passionate about. I’d also like to develop into a more well rounded racer while I’m here and plan on doing whatever it takes to get our team on the podium”

Judah Sencenbaugh
Hometown: Toccoa, GA
Year: Sophomore
Academic Major: Graphic Design
Cycling Disciplines: Road, Track, Cyclocross
I like fast, technical courses. I also enjoy the real tough long distance races that play to my endurance strengths. Ultimately, I’m still learning and developing; every race every experience I find something new that works or doesn’t work.

Simon Lewis
Hometown: Franklin, TN
Year: Freshman
Academic Major: Visual Communication w/ concentration in Advertising and Minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship
Cycling Disciplines: Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, Road
I strive to be a great cyclist, but also to be a great role model to the younger cyclists and have fun on the bike! When I’m not racing, I’m investing my time in the youth of cycling to help teach the more valuable lessons that cycling has to offer.

Moriah Swan
Hometown: Alpine, CA
Year: Freshman
Academic Major: Visual Communication w/ concentration in Advertising and Minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship
Cycling Disciplines: Road
I’m a climber. I love long hard road races with big climbs. However, I also love the rush of a good crit. Cycling is a huge part of my life and always will be. I think it would be incredible to use my SCAD degree in a career with an international cycling company.
