Please read the following statement to learn about our information gathering and dissemination practices.
We collect only the information you explicitly provide to us, such as usernames, API keys and data gathered during the function of our application.
- Our server will log your IP address and the pages you visit. This is default behavior of most server installations.
- Our Application (“Scam Clerk”) will gather statistics for use within the site. These include (but not limited to) the number of, and usernames of, accounts blocked, already publicly available data such as your Twitter followers, who you follow and your profile info.
- When you close your account on Scam Clerk, all your data collected by the application will be removed permanently.
In general, you can browse the Website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us.
We use “session cookies” on the Website to help keep you logged in while navigating through different pages.
You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Website.
If you send us personal correspondence (such as via Twitter), expect those 3rd party services to be able to view such correspondence.
We DO NOT collect personally identifiable information (email address, real name, phone number, credit card / debit card / other payment instrument details, etc.) from you when you set up an account with us.
While we make every effort to protect our server, website and application, we cannot guarantee or assume that we won’t get hacked, infiltrated or be subject to some other nefarious action. If that ever happens, sorry! Also, revoke your API keys immediately.
