I Got Rejected by Apple Music… So I Redesigned It
Jason Yuan

Great work on this Jason —these tweaks do a lot to clean up what is an uncharacteristically cluttered interface from Apple.

Would love to see you continue to think through the social integration you mentioned. You cited Spotify as a an example of a service doing well here, but I think even they still have a long way to go — in my experience at least, very, very few people are interacting with their close connections on Spotify except to stalk what friends/family are listening to. I wonder if there’s a fix here (particularly on mobile) or if streaming music just doesn’t inherently lend itself to social media integration? Something to think about.

Also love the gamification idea around music discovery. Could see broad applicability for a concept like that for moods, genres, playlists, etc.
