Live life. Make art. Be happy.

This has been my motto for almost a decade now. I resigned myself to being an artist who sadly will need to keep a day job.

So my only recourse was to decide that I can only live life (and that means needing a job to pay the bills, eat, stay warm etc) but I can balance that meager existence with making time to make art and doodle, paint, write and cartoon which thereby allows me to be happy.

Facebook reminded me this week that I posted on my page that the Coffeelicious published a cartoon of mine one year ago this week. And it also reminded me that I have been in a slump for quite some time and I have not submitted anything to them in months.

So this post is a shot at exercising that muscle and telling anyone who reads the Coffeelicious and perhaps those of you who chose to follow me individually because of their exposure (thank you again, I am very humbled) that I am working on getting my groove back.
