Fascinating article Yonatan! You did answer the question of “why” red barns are cheap because iron is plentiful in the universe, but the reason that barns are red is because farmers/ranchers use what they have around the barn: rust (iron oxide), egg and linseed oil (or other) to make cheap paint. Thanks for the great story!.
