Three Things I Do Before Writing Any Code For A Software Engineering Task

Coding is only part of the job as a software engineer. Software engineers have to think well beyond the code they are writing in order to effectively solve problems using code. When I am working on a task or feature, this problem solving process begins before a line of code is written. Here are three things that I always do before I write a line of code:
