Today we’re excited to introduce a fresh look and a number of new features to Ivy.

Since the initial release of Ivy, our approach has been to bring a wellness lens to a simple productivity tool. We’ve made it a priority to keep Ivy intuitive and easy to use so that you can make progress toward achieving your goals one day at a time.

When we started to explore more about wellness, we learned that authenticity can have a meaningful impact on your well-being. And what you do every day that doesn’t get shared on social media or in group chats can be an authentic and intimate portrayal of who you are. So recently, we introduced Community — a public feed of what people are working on in Ivy— which helps normalize life in a way that social products can’t. You probably aren’t the only one who has to do laundry today, even though nobody mentions it.

And today, we’re excited to introduce the next step in Ivy’s evolution — one that not only helps you make progress toward achieving your goals easier than before, but that also helps you build and maintain authentic connections with the important people in your life.

A better way to plan your day

How you spend your day can have a lasting impact on your physical and mental health. Wether it’s starting a new habit, taking care of yourself, or staying on top of chores — the satisfaction of making progress feels great.

Today we’re introducing a number of new features to improve how you plan and prioritize your day with Ivy.

What’s new?

  • You can now add more than six things to your day
  • You can now create recurring intentions on a daily or weekly basis
  • You can now easily schedule things ahead of time with the new scheduling feature
  • You can now use the updated calendar experience to plan ahead, or go back in time to mark things as complete
  • You can now easily change the visibility (public, visible to friends, or private) of each individual intention with the updated visibility feature

Share your authentic self

Your list of daily intentions is intimate look into your life that cannot be easily communicated through other means. It portrays what habits you’re building, what your strengths are, and much more. These details about your life are an important way to stay connected with people that matter to you most, and can act as a conversation starter to get help or inspiration when you need it.

With the new Ivy, you can create a profile so that people can see what you’re up to and encourage you to knock one more thing off your list.

What’s new?

  • You can now create a display name
  • You can now create a username (grab @yourname before it’s gone!)
  • You can now create a bio to share more about yourself
  • You can now track your total intentions complete
  • You can now track your total kudos given
  • You can now track your best streak

A new way to connect with friends

With the introduction of profiles in the new version of Ivy, we’ve also made it easy for you to connect with friends on Ivy. Being able to form connections through shared activities, habits, and realizing you are not the only one who has to do something like study for an online exam is a way to foster a deeper understanding of the important people in your life — even when you’re apart.

With the new Ivy, you can see what your friends are up to in just a tap.

What’s new?

  • You can now search for, invite, and add friends to Ivy
  • You can now see suggested friends who use Ivy
  • You can now filter your Community feed to see what your friends are up to
  • You can now leave comments, or give kudos on what your friends are working on

Join Ivy today

We can’t wait for you to join the thousands of people who use Ivy. We look forward to continuing to build Ivy so that it can be a space for your authentic self.
