Into the Abyss: Why the Local Food Movement Needs to Stop Congratulating Itself

In Belgium, we have some food for school produced locally by the community garden (I don’t know hos to explain it in English sorry but you got the idea right?). Mainly vegetable & fruit of course. Not Atlantic salmon :P

What about making the prison produce their own food?

It’s a good way to rehabilitate prisoners to give them the opportunity to learns how to produce food.

The bad thing there is that it will kill the liberal economy that is currently “vampirizing” the US taxes by providing low quality (probably not even US) food for low price with a huge benefice.

They are certainly lobbying in some way to avoid such shift since long time.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
