Scorum Brings the Sports and Cryptocurrency Community Together

With only three days left in the Scorum Crowdsale, we’d like to take a moment to highlight and appreciate the growing community of sports fans and blockchain believers that have supported us so far.

Without them, the Scorum vision would not be realized.

Throughout the last four months, we have succeeded in reaching early adopters who believe, along with us, that sports entertainment has a bright and rewarding future on blockchain.

Here’s a sampling from around the world of people who have joined Scorum.

Philip from Australia has been a believer in Scorum from day one of the crowdsale:

“Hi all, I am Philip from Townsville Australia, I have been researching cryptocurrency for a little while and in doing so discovered Scorum. Now I saw a company that was going to put commission FREE gambling and fantasy sports on Blockchain. WOW I thought that cannot be true. “After I read partially through the whitepaper, I thought to myself that there is indeed a need for the idea of the project.

The main reason I bought into the crowdsale (even though the price per token was already pretty high compared to other ico’s) was that Scorum plans to build its “coin” not on ERC20 like most of others — but on the graphene blockchain — which impressed me a lot.

I believe that Scorum and the Scorum Platform could set a new standard in how to deal with sports related topics:

• you have a video to upload where you are doing sports? use Scorum
• you like watching sports related videos? use Scorum
• you want to bet on any sports? use Scorum
• ever tried to play Fantasy League? use Scorum
• any information about your local football club? use Scorum

I can go on like this very long…. I believe as soon as people realize they can make money and lose less (due to no fees on bets) — this Platform will get very BIG.”

Football fan Juan from Colombia has even taken to answering common questions in the Scorum Telegram chat to help newcomers understand Scorum:

“Of course yes, I joined the Scorum project because I am a football fan and it is good that someone awards you for your knowledge in sports and Scorum has all that, sports awards and a project which has a lot of potential according to the white paper”.

This is only a small slice of the engaged community so far, but we know it is an important one. These fans see the value inherent in the Scorum Project. And along with them and the millions of other sports fans around the world, we can’t wait to continue building a sports entertainment platform that will change the game for years to come.

As we shift away from initial funding and towards building our active user base, we know we can rely on these early adopters to provide the foundation of the Scorum community.
