[This is a continuation of my March 2017 trip to Scotland — see overview here.]

It pays to be well connected! Thanks to my friends at Whisky Blasphemy™, the wonderful Michelle Bonsick, and the incomparable Dan Crowell, I got VIP treatment at Glenmorangie during my visit.

Is this heaven? It was spiritual, for sure! The famous “Giraffes” of Glenmorangie!
Sherry, Port & Sauternes Cask Finishes — you can’t go wrong! Chocolate Malt, what a nice idea!
A Midwinter Night’s Dram (with Oloroso hints), Taghta (the “crowd-sourced” dram!) and Ealanta (Virgin Oaks). I ended up purchasing Ealanta and it’s becoming my favorite pretty quickly.
Dornoch (Amentillado Sherry), Companta (Two wine cask styles), Tayne (Amentillado again) — choices choices choices..
I literally was a kid at the candy shop! Three more, and then I promised to stop. Tarlogan (Virgin & Ex-Bourbon Oaks), Duthac (PX & Virgin Oak) and Tusail.
Rachael was the wonderful hostess for the trip, and Anette made it all happen, including showing off the Scotch Aficionado banner for us!

Thanks Glenmorangie!
