Highlands : Highland Park

Just like Springbank, there are people in my group that swear by Highland Park, so I put HP near the top of the list of distilleries to visit. I chose the Specialist Tour — Vintage. Boy, was I in for some fun!

A standard Distillery tour was followed by clearly the best tasting I have had at a distillery. Hosted by the charming Patricia, Brand Heritage Manager for Highland Park, this was a true “experience”.

Yes I see the stills, bring out the malts please!

What’s the definition of invaluable? How about something that cannot be bought? This 1968 expression is reserved solely for Vintage tour, and was never sold.

All 3 of the 1976, 1971 and 1970 expressions were excellent, but 1971 being my birth year, I was partial to it!

Ended with a Distillery Exclusive Cask Strength edition. Patricia posed with the Scotch Aficionado banner to round out an excellent tour.
