I’m sure I’ve questioned the challenges of leadership within tech before on your posts Mark…I’ve always wondered how it is so many young people are expected to be great leaders when so many have yet to understand what it means to follow so early in their lives. Much of leadership is learned by falling on your face and it seems there is very little opportunity for that to happen for a 21 year old with an idea, no job history and the pressure of a VC board and their expectations. Truly a tough dynamic to find a balance between those capable of leadership, those willing to learn, and those not entrenched in a lifetime of bad habits (us old guys)!
