Back in the 1960s, a young animator from Brooklyn set out to make cartoons. What he created was not big-budget, apolitical, or child-friendly, and yet told great stories through great art, proving that cartoons didn’t have to be just for kids — An Unconventional Art-form I’m a fan of cartoons. Growing up, I fed my imagination with a steady diet of the stuff, and I still do to this day. I like the stories, I like the plethora of art styles and character designs, and I like the enthusiasm it can kindle among fellow devotees.
