Lies That Scientists Tell (Themselves)
Martin Rezny

If the premise of this argument had any validity, all religions of the world would have been relegated to the status of Roman and Greek and Aztec religions. People do believe on “authority” and not whether “science” is involved. When Abel Tasman brought back word of a land we now know as Australia, did people believe him based on ‘science’? Having never traveled to Australia, do I believe it truly exists, based on ‘science’? Knowing some of the basics of science, do I believe Mohammed flew on a winged-horse?

People accept ideas based on authority, not science.
