Late Beginnings

After 10 years of toil, I quit my job. I got rid of most of my stuff. I rented out my tiny study condo. I ran away. I’ve intended to document my journey and am starting today.

I left Seattle in June of 2016. I spent a couple weeks in my hometown before I flew to South Africa. After three weeks there, I flew to the Seychelles and then to Berlin. I’m currently staying in a 1-bedroom apartment (AirBnB) in the Schöneberg. I arrived here July 22 and will remain until Sept 5.

I turned 34 on July 25. It was a Monday. I spent the day alone.

Where next? Croatia, it appears. What next? What are you doing with your life? I hope to find out.
