Ellen, if unsolicited, you’d probably want to think twice about that. If the vibe feels right, go for it. The key is if they ask to hear what you’re working on and you have a tight, really tight elevator pitch. And as I said in the OP, if you can get a six word version of your story (or something similar) focusing on that central HOOK of the story, that’s idea. If you can get them to say, “Tell me more,” that’s what you want.
