Fiela, concur 100%. I know what happens because I’ve dealt with countless writers who shared the same story of woe. Pound out first act which they can totally see. Get about 10, 20, maybe even 30 pages into Act II, then… they get lost, don’t know where they’re going, get frustrated, anxious, finally lose their energy for the story. Another one bites the dust.

Yet another reason to break the story in prep before typing FADE IN.
