ScottEffx created the flickerSong, for musicians to compose and play MIDI-driven light shows synchronized to music. Using a Digital Audio Workshop such as Logic Pro X and LED string lights, the musician edits the light effects through their musical keyboard to create sublime to dazzling stroboscopic light shows. Bouncing the project to an MP3, the light show is saved as an ID3 tag and automatically played along with the music, using the ScottEffx media player.
