Agreed, it had no soul. Didn’t feel a moment of true Star Trek in there. Everything that makes Star Trek “Star Trek” took a backseat to action and plot devices. For the first time in my life I was bored during a Star Trek film. Story and character make good films…not flashy cool stuff and loud music.

I sure hope the new TV series they are working on understands that Star Trek is about humanity exploring itself while exploring the galaxy…not just people blowing up space ships.
