Thanks Alyssa. Distracting or annoying as they may be, the idea of machines attempting to grab a piece of out attention makes sense. As an example, the hospital parkade ticket validation machine can seem quite bossy while walking me through the payment process but at the end it says, “thank you” in a way that closes a trip to the cardiologist on a positive note.

It doesn’t have to do this.
