My community college students take the Meyers-Briggs regularly, at the prompting of our counseling staff, and place great credence in the results. So perhaps little has changed since the 1950s. It can, I admit, be useful in providing some counterweight to the pervasive (parental) notion that every one must major, automatically, in CS or Engineering or Medicine.
