I seem to recall a young Mark Zuckerberg was deeply inspired by his high school encounter with the Aeneid. It would be a crying shame if someone like that were put off of learning the classics because someone called him a of white supremacist for wanting to study the roots of Western Civilization.

Isn’t this sort of thinking a glorified version of “get those peasants off of my lawn?” If people want to study the classics, let them. The classics are a treasure for all of humanity, including people you politically disagree with. If you need to include moralistic preening along with your teaching of the classics, simply because people you don’t like enjoy the classics, that seems rather sad.
