Stop saying his name

His racist, xenophobic, unrealistic and unconstitutional “policies” have not stopped Americans from supporting him. His misogynist, disrespectful ways of speaking about and to women have not stopped Americans from supporting him. His lack of any sort of real experience or ability to demonstrate even an iota of understanding as to how the government works has not stopped Americans from supporting him. His constant lies have not stopped Americans from supporting him. The fact that he has earned the support of Klan leaders and neo-nazis has not stopped Americans from supporting him. Sorry, but your Facebook post or Tweet or blog post is not going to stop Americans from supporting him. If he himself can’t stop people from supporting him, then your hot take certainly isn’t going to be the thing that does it.

So, instead, let’s just not say his name anymore. Let’s make him invisible. Let’s talk about the people and ideas and things that we support and love and make the world a better place.

I’m pledging from right now until Election Night on November 8th, 2016 to no longer say his name online. I will no longer post links to anything about him. No memes. Nothing.

Will you join me?
