These are disconnects between propaganda and reality. Imagine 52 year old taxpayers learning that Uncle Sam was not real like Santa Claus or the Easter bunny. Basic premises like North American food security, Federal omnicompetence, medical and technology leadership are now gone or evaporating. These are generations raising kids to theorized prizes now discredited globally across credible media.

The Net brought down what Yale’s David Gelernter once called Topsite in his book Mirror Worlds. Many coastal educated folks feel vindicated or like Buddha gone forth from his palace to become Awakened.

We could a devote many volumes to a strange culture with ~50% of the world’s deployed capital post WW2 and just 8% of its population telling its kids they should do better than their parents while Eurasia rebuilds.

Can you imagine telling American kids anything more psychotic while ruining them lounging poolside for 18 years? Now we have college plagiarists going to Wall St. to cheat their ways to intergenerational progress. Our ladies comparing potential hubbies to their daddies encourage that reckless gambling. I grew up around some of that among ambitious Harvard folks.

We need a new poetry of our reality. Meanwhile our Pentagon is help SciFi ghostwrite novels and movie plots. Our Demos is traumatized, under focused organized propaganda attack, addicted to opiates, living remote on crumbling infrastructure, burdened with kids and debt and just in massive troubles.

I don’t think we are unified or organized enough to suffer revolution. I increasingly hear angry whimpers more than bangs.
