Time Management for People Who Hate Time Management

I have a Self Journal too, but admittedly this has been a tough habit to install. I hadn’t previously been a time-blocker (as your “before” image shows), and I sometimes forget to write in my Self Journal to the extent you do. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my examination of productivity, workflow, and habits, it’s that we all have instincts and tendencies — there is no universal “right” way to approach things.

Oddly, one new “tool”, if I can call it that, which has made me aware of my productivity and time mgmt throughout the day is the church which chimes hourly and sends an ominous “bong” throughout the neighbourhood. This marks not only the hours but the 15-minute intervals, making me grossly aware of when I’m being distracted or how long something is truly taking.
