Another example of a situation where a “revision history” or other transparent version record of a news story would be invaluable. I think news organizations should/must have the ability to update stories as they need but unless the process is transparent readers will end up seeing an agenda (one that could well be there) in the covert rewrite. I wrote about this years ago.
